- Crispy and crunchy skin: 4/5 - nice crunchy skin that you can definitely hear when you bite into it

- Flavor of skin: 4/5 - nicely flavored

- Flavor of chicken: 4/5 - also nicely flavored

- Lack of grease: 4.5/5 - very little oil, even when we reheated it the next day

- Tender: 3.5/5 - the meat doesn't exactly fall off the bone

Total: 4/5 - Safeway is one of our favorite grocery stores to get fried chicken from. It looks appetizing and tastes pretty good!

Notes:

- Their potato wedges are super yummy! They're really nicely flavored and go well with their dipping sauces.

- There's no hot and spicy option - just regular along with other fried chicken items like wings and tenders.

- Depending on which Safeway you go out, there might not be space to eat there while everything is still hot. We always bring it home and reheat it in our toaster oven for that extra crunch.
